Note the Heer tunics missing the national eagle, a Luftwaffe M43 Feldmutze. At this stage in the war the Field Divisions were more or less ‘lost bastard’ units belonging to the Luftwaffe, lead (terribly I might add) by the Wehrmacht yet hardly supplied or trained by neither.
