Unternehmen Leopard: here’s a shot taken aboard a Kriegsmarine vessel on the morning of November 18th 1943, after the victory on Leros. From left to right, a Brandenburg coastal raider (note the standard steel helmet), a Kriegsmarine sailor, a Brandenburg paratrooper from the 15th (Parachute) Coy and a Luftwaffe para from I/FJR2.
