On the shores of Narvik.
Kriegsmarine soldiers join the ranks of their Gebirgsjäger/Fallschirmjäger kameraden. After having their U-Boat sunk, these men continued the fight on land along side Gebirgsjäger Rgt. 139 and formed a unit of “GebirgsMarine” and went into action as mountain infantry.
Fallschirmjäger, Gebirgsjäger, and Kriegsmarine soldiers stand together; a few weeks into the fighting on Narvik - 1940.
